Family Tradition--& add to Comment Box!
Its kind of a family tradition to love and have cocker spaniels.

My Nan was a great lover of this bred, and others, but cocker spaniels were a favorite.

My Nan died in 2005 in her 80's and still had her beloved gold cocker companion "Chrissy". When "Chrissy" passed away Nan didn't want another dog at her age to start again and train, so she loved it when we brought over the girls for a cuddle and a visit.

Because of their Love, my passion has always been to breed this dog and make a pure bred dog available with good bloodlines, conformation and temperament, to loving homes.

To deny anyone the experience of owning and loving this breed, would be a shame, simply because they will not show and promote your Kennel.   So I'm trying to make the pure bred dog still available to the average dog lover.

The main priority with any puppy that I will breed, will be for soundness in temperament, as well as body.   As nearly all of our puppies are brought up with my family and go to live as family pets, and companions.

As I have been more interested in showing horses the last 25 years than dogs, I'm not a big producing breeder only having 2 litters from my girls "Amy-1 litter 2001" and "Casey-1 litter 2007".
Due to back problems, I had to retire my horses and give up riding in 2006, which has given me more time to focus on my spaniels.

With some of our dogs, we are trying to retain the recessive liver gene,   as well as breed my personal favourite colour-the red gold.

All breeding stock carry bloodlines from Australian-English and Canadian Champions, and their breeders are registered as DNA Vet check tested.

Hi Sandy
Its nice to find someone who loves and appreciates cockers as a family dog, and even thou you don't breed very often, you are willing to share information, and go that extra mile-like 6 hours worth, by driving to Adelaide and personally delivering a lovely puppy at no extra cost to their new home and owner.
Thank you
