A small country town registered breeder of English Cocker Spaniels with the ANKC NSW, and listed at Dogsonline.
Gypsysands Kennels is situated in Broken Hill NSW 2880, that is set in the outback of Australia. To be able to include my companions and every day lovable pet in the label of "HOBBIE" is a great excuse.
We are an extended-family with our spaniels, as my mum, then me, have been raised ourselfs with cocker spaniels as pets growing up, and I bought my very own spaniel in 1988 and named her Sabrina. Now with help from the kids, our cockers are raised to learn how to play and socialise, and are very well handled and loved.
We do a little bit of showing our dogs only locally so far, due to work and family commitments, but my main goal is to work good and learn with our spaniels at Dog Obedience and hopefully have a well mannered, well trained breed of spaniel that will have both beauty and brains to compete in trials and pass that quite lovable nature to their progeny.
Here at Gypsysands, i am slowly going thru my dogs and having them DNA & genetically tested individually for the diseases of prcd-PRA and FN.
We occassionally have litters to widen our genetic pool of this lovely breed, and my personal favourite colour is the red gold.
Transportation arrangements can be discussed and arranged, and Australian Air Express with REX Airlines will fly livestock around Australia from Broken Hill
(any flights will be at buyers expense).
