This is how I remember her
with her funny sit
Toni, was a mixed breed, that we adopted from the RSPCA.
I got her when i was still in primary school, around 1978 i think.
When I moved out of home in 1987 and set up house, i wanted to take Toni with me, but mum said that she was too old and would get upset with the change, so Toni got to stay, and I left with no dog.
It was hard without my furry friend, and i was the one that got upset and fretted. So in 1988 I got Sabrina to live with me.
Everyday I would drop Sabrina at Mums to babysit (for the next 6 yrs +)and play with Toni and mums black cocker spaniel Sooty .
Mind you Toni lived til she was 18 years old, and we put her to sleep.

at 6 weeks old 1988,
and my to be page boy Mark age 3 yrs.

she was the mum,
and tried to feed off her.
from the Breeders of Sabrina, because she had such a lovely temperament we ended up buying a puppy from every litter that
they bred from "Sybil" & "Basil".

As i was more interested in horses and showing at the time,
all our dogs were pets and de-sexed.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THEIR COAT, IT CHANGES IT.
THEY BECOME BIG CURLY HAIRY YETTI'S, THEN YOU NEED TO KEEP CLIPPING THEM OFF FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.

on our trampoline.
Even thou i was into riding and showing horses, the dogs didn't miss out.
I always had a canine passenger with Sabrina.
She loved coming in the cart or sulky, and when allowed, she came along for a ride when I showed in harness & obstacle driving competitions.
